Sec-Tec adopts a comprehensive testing methodology unique to the company.

Our methodology has evolved over eight years and hundreds of testing projects. It is designed to ensure that testing is not only of a very high standard, but also that the testing team have had the time to undertake any research and development necessary to deal with unexpected issues.

Sec-Tec's dedicated penetration testing team have a wealth of experience in dealing with both vanilla and bespoke environments. Rigid procedures ensure multiple stages of Quality Assurance throughout the test.

OUR REPORTS

Sec-Tec's reports are hand drafted by the actual testing team and focus not only on the positive and negative aspects of the test, but also the most effective route to fix.

We work with the relevant individuals within our clients' organisations to create an effective progress strategy, thus ensuring that issues are intelligently rectified. Our reports are tailored to our clients' exact needs. They are packed with easy-to-read material and screenshots to illustrate and emphasise the potential business risks of our findings.

OUR VALUE

Unlike many of our competitors, Sec-Tec do not make additional charges for application layer testing. All of Sec-Tec's penetration tests include full infrastructure and application testing as standard. This often results in a huge cost saving for the client.

In addition to this important benefit:

  • Sec-Tec will provide confirmation of corrections completely free of charge. This helps to prevent potentially disastrous situations in which an issue is believed to be corrected but is not fixed.

  • Sec-Tec will present the findings of the report free of charge anywhere in the UK to your appointed team, be they board, technical or clients. This provides an excellent knowledge transfer. In our experience this works more effectively than guided penetration testing (in which the client can spend many hours or even days watching the test take place). Sec-Tec's solution provides a condensed and time efficient alternative.
